Abbott & Crabb Festival
The Abbott and crabb festival was held at Francistown club. More than 250 audiences attended this event, which took place at night from 7 pm till late. It was a comedy night filled with jokes, music and laughter’s. There are some certain events components the writer will discuss on, which took place at the Abbott and crabb festival. The idea behind this event was to raise funds for their golf club.

LIGHTNINGS
According to American Psychological Association (APA) lightnings has the ability to change and achieve particular effects. The Abbott and crabb festival was wreathed with various lightnings which gave the event a significant meaning. According to Reid, (1995) lightnings transmutes any kind of festival or business event into a remarkable event. These lightnings set any appealing atmosphere for audiences.

Music
Staging music at an event is easy and rewarding way which increases sales and build a good customer base Stephen and Pyke, (2004). The music which was staged at the event wobbled the patrons, as we saw them leaving their seats and dancing along with the music, and some we more excited and they ordered more beverages.

Valentine Dinner

The event was organized by hospitality students in collaboration with the student’s representative council (SRC). The event took place at school premises, the hospitality students prepared food and beverages to other students who purchased tickets intended for the event. 

Teams were created to manage the complex logistical and production elements of the event.According to (Bowdin et, al, 2012) stated that it is very necessary to define roles and responsibilities across the required key elements of the event that would provide a clear channels of communication and allow for areas of specialty to operate for the common stability of the event. The main functional responsibilities included food production team, marketing team and food service team respectively.

On the day of the event, students executed their tasks well on time, as Sleight, (1989) said time management is a vital aspect in any kind of event. Time management is primary to all project management for events and festivals. Food and beverages were served well on time which at the end pleased the clients.

 Risk management is seen as one of the awareness areas of the event manager and Sorin, (2003) pointed out that, managing risk a fundamental function of the event manager. The risk assessment was not measured at that event. For example there was no security during the event.

Nyangabwe Hospital Events

Christie,  and  McAteer, (2006) states that event planning involves some basic steps need to be followed when developing an event, which are develop an event goal and objective, organize a team and set a date etc. The writer at this point attentions on the planning stage of the event which took place at Nyangbwe Hospital. Bowdin et al, (2012) states that the event manager must first go through the broad concept of the event with major stakeholders and then carry out a feasibility study.
According to Thompson, (2005) Event Feasibility Study can be defined as a  process for identifying opportunities, determining objectives, describing situations, defining successful outcomes and assessing the range of costs and benefits associated with several alternatives for solving a problem. Goals and objectives of the event were developed after we carried out the feasibility study with the hospital management. This theories and concepts helped us to focus on the objectives and goals of the event and avoided us to end up everywhere. According to Christie, and  McAteer, (2006 ) for an event to stand out, it should be branded with a timely a compelling them. We created a short memorable branding slogan that designated our event; bring hope to patients.

The event planners came up with a master plan for set event which according to Bowdin et al, (2012) is an event-driven plan that documents the significant accomplishments necessary to complete the work and ties each accomplishment to a key program event. Identify  Participant's, venue and some aspects where encompassed.
