Braai Festival
The
braai festival was held at Barbora Bistro Restaurant, the event was to mark the
5th anniversary ceremony of the company. The event called upon
different chefs to show case their braai styles and techniques. Fairly the
event attracted great number of people who attended this event.
Place/Venue
Bowdin,
et al, (2012) point out that, an event venue or place is a site at which
consumers can purchase products and services, where the event takes place.
Mathews, (2008) note that the choosing of venue for an event is very crucial,
because the venue will ultimately determine the elements of staging of an
event. Barbora Bistro Restaurant was the best place/venue for this event as it
has an adequate open space. Chefs displayed their braai stands on the open
space, the setup was appropriately done due to adequate space. This made the
event to look or being part of theme of the event. Customers who attended the
event walked freely to their seats and interacted well with chefs. Due to the
size of the venue and the size of the event enhanced the event experience. In
fact the venue managed to accommodate everyone who attended the event and the
issue of congested was avoided.
