Cultural Day Event
The writer is focused on reflecting and evaluate which took place at Gumare. The event is celebrated annually in northern district part of Botswana. The event is spearheaded by the government of Botswana under the ministry of youth, sports and culture. The event is aimed to promote the cultures of different tribes living in the Ngami land district. Different ethics group attended the event to show case their cultures. Music, food, and attire of different types was exhibited on the day.
Venue
Venue is a place or a site where the event is held, according Mathews, (2008) note that the choosing of venue for an event is very crucial, because the venue will ultimately determine the elements of staging of an event. The event was held at Gumare primary school ground, the venue had adequate space and was easily accessible to people who attended the event. With adequate space exhibitors managed to display their products attractively and the issue overcrowd was evaded.
Entertainment
Shay, King & Cynthia, (2010) believes, entertainment grasps audience’s attention and creates enjoyment and desire to the viewers. The music and dances played by different cultures retained enjoyment to the audiences until the shutdown of the event.
