Mmophane Mine Dinner

The dinner was held at Barbora Bistro Restaurant, this event was to appreciate and express thanks to Mmophane mine staff for their commitments on their work and the company objectives and goals. The dinner attracted over 100 guests. Awards were given to employees who accomplished and displayed excellence in their field of work.
Staffing
The number of staff required in such event is determined by the nature and requirements of the event Lillicrap & Cousins, (2010) point out. As food and beverages and wine were served at the event, waiters and wine waiters were required. Each waiter was assigned to serve 10 covers. Lillicrap & Cousins, (2010) suggest that one waiter should at least serve 25-30 covers in demand for efficiency work or job. Bowdin, Allen, O’Toole, Harris, & McDonnell, (2012) states that in incident the event requires the service of casual staff, they should report well in advance at least an hour before so that they complete mise-en-place, allocating them to duties and to be updated on the processes to be carried out. The event organizers called the casual staff the day before the event, duties were allocated to them and were briefed on the procedures to be carried out.
