Wine Testing Event

Wine testing is uncommon in Botswana, and Francistown golf club found it suitable to host wine testing event.  The event which was held at Francistown golf club premises attracted a huge number of people from different organizations; hotels, lodges and the community. Various types of wines were tested on the day. According to Lillcrap & Cousins, (2010) describe wine as the alcoholic brew attained from fermentation of the juice of freshly collected grapes.

Lights and Sound

According to Bowdin, Allen, O’Toole, Harris, & McDonnell, (2012) lightings and sound are central to the design of the event. Lights let everyone to see what is taking place and the sound system is for audience to clearly hear speeches and audio effects. As the event took place on the night, the lights were clear to allow clients to see which wines were displayed for testing. Some of the lights at the event were artistically, and Bowdin et al,(2012) point out this kind of lights enhance the overall theme of the event. There were some lights which were outside the venue, the reason for have those lights was for identification of the venue, security and safety of staff and clients.

  1. long time ago wine test was a symbol socialization,where the community and locals came together to share ideas.
