Wine Testing Event
Wine
testing is uncommon in Botswana, and Francistown golf club found it suitable to
host wine testing event. The event which
was held at Francistown golf club premises attracted a huge number of people
from different organizations; hotels, lodges and the community. Various types
of wines were tested on the day. According to Lillcrap & Cousins, (2010)
describe wine as the alcoholic brew attained from fermentation of the juice of
freshly collected grapes.
Lights and Sound
According
to Bowdin, Allen, O’Toole, Harris, & McDonnell, (2012) lightings and sound
are central to the design of the event. Lights let everyone to see what is taking
place and the sound system is for audience to clearly hear speeches and audio
effects. As the event took place on the night, the lights were clear to allow
clients to see which wines were displayed for testing. Some of the lights at
the event were artistically, and Bowdin et al,(2012) point out this kind of
lights enhance the overall theme of the event. There were some lights which
were outside the venue, the reason for have those lights was for identification
of the venue, security and safety of staff and clients.
